Eartha Delights (Kansas City, MO)

Eartha Delights is a burlesque performer, entertainer, artist, model, singer, fortune teller, eccentric, diplomat, nerd, and giver of unsolicited (and sometimes questionable) personal advice. She is also the founder of the Kansas City Burlesque Symposium, whose mission is to increase the quality and value of burlesque in Kansas City by providing an open forum as well as continued education and support to burlesque performers and producers in Kansas City and surrounding areas. Her credits include Show-Me Burlesque Festival, Colorado Burlesque Festival, the New Century Follies, Kansas City Fringe Festival, opening for the Schwag, and closing lots of bars.

Vic Sin (Kansas City, MO)

Kansas City's premier boylesque performer Vic Sin is coming out of the closet and into the sparkling world of burlesque.Vic Sin is an androgynous dancer, performer, and glitter thrower who is coming out of the closet and into the glittering world of burlesque. Vic made his burlesque premier in 2011 and has not stopped shimmying since.

Ginger Valentine (Dallas, Tx)

Ginger Valentine is a striptease artist known for blending her classical training with raucous bump-and-grind. She is the 2011 Queen of Burlesque from the New Orleans Burlesque Festival, the 2010 Best Tease at the Texas Burlesque Festival and was voted into the top 20 Burlesque Industry Figures for 2011 and 2012. Ginger is co producer and director of the Ruby Revue which performs regularly in Dallas and in Houston and helps produce the Dallas Burlesque Festival. Ginger is known for taking over Kitty West's iconic act, Evangeline the Oyster Girl which she performs frequently at Bustout Burlesque in New Orleans.

She is an instructor at the Ruby Room Studio in Dallas where she teaches burlesque and ballet classes.

Lady Jack (Chicago, IL)

Lady Jack is a multi‐faceted Performance Artist and Burlesque Dancer from Chicago who delights in anything demanding red lipstick and a top hat. She is a presence in the Chicago and national scene as aperformer, choreographer, producer and collaborator with others that conspire to create worlds of midnight festival and magic. She has performed in the New York and New Orleans Burlesque Festivals, Best of Midwest Burlesk, Show-Me Burlesque Festival and is a frequent feature act for the Beggar's Carnivale in St. Louis, as well as other shows throughout the country. She is one of the resident Burlesque artists at 1930's style nightclub Untitled Chicago, and performs regularly for other shows and top Chicago events and nightclubs. She was voted as one of the top 100 Burlesque artists in 2010 in 21st Century Burlesque, and also appeared on the cover of Timeout Chicago's "Sex Issue" that year.

Her performance art and dance work has been seen in TEDx Midwest, opening for James Taylor for the event Evermore, with chamber music ensemble 5th House,  and with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra's production of  A Solider's Tale with John Lithgow. Lady Jack is also an actor in film, where she frequently appears under her alias of Lindsey Marks. She has appeared in Atmosphere's music video Shoulda Known, the self-written  web series Hitwomen and will be appearing as the lead role of Faith in the upcoming feature film Heaven is Hell.  Most importantly, she strangled a dominatrix to death in the short film Care Bears: Back in Action.

Sugar Lee (Bloomington, IN)

Not only sweet, but full of spice, Sugar Lee launched her burlesque career in 2008 with Bustout Burlesque in New Orleans.  Since then, she has moved to Bloomington, Indiana and performed with the Bloomington Burlesque Brigade, Angel Burlesque in Indianapolis, and as a special guest performer at the Jumpin Jupiter in St. Louis.  She performed in the 2009 and 2011 New Orleans Burlesque Festivals, the 2011 Dallas Burlesque Festival and the 2011 Best of Midwest Burlesque Festival.  Sugar Lee incorporates her classical vocal and dance training into her unique routines.

Iva Handfull (Seattle, WA)

Seattle’s Iva Handfull is a modern heathen in the Burlesque world, an albino Grace Jones, both a fashion Icon and rock & roll Diva.  Mz. Handfull is a modern, alternative neo-Burlesquer known for her inventive, epic, and oftentimes impersonating performances. 

 

Iva’s had the pleasure of performing in New York, Chicago, Atlanta, Dallas, St. Louis, Minneapolis, Teaseorama in San Francisco, and competed in the Burlesque Hall of Fame in Las Vegas.

 

She’s co-producer of Discontinued Trim Productions, raising money for Seattle charities, and co-owner of Haute Under the Collar, creating custom rhinestone neckties, so you too can be well hung!

Po’ Chop (Chicago, IL)

Po’chop is one savory cut that is sure to leave your mouth-watering for more.  Having been a member of Vaudezilla since 2011 and marinated in over 10 years of dance training, this juicy cut combines story-telling, dance, and elements of theatre to create acts that been described as “edgy performance-art-influenced burlesque pieces.” Po’Chop! Even vegetarians want a bite of her.

Scarlet Harlot (Lawrence, KS)

Scarlet Harlot has been performing in Foxy by Proxy Revue since it's birth in 2010. She has a love for parody, but also dabbles in experimental, and classic style burlesque. With a background in the live music and theatre Scarlet has been singing, acting and dancing her way across the midwest since 2007. Foxy By Proxy is a Lawrence-based cabaret/comedy troupe. Their focus is performing at local venues with bands or other performers through an acting, singing, and dancing variety show. The troupe showcases lovely ladies, hysterical emcees, and satirical skits. 

Moxie Malicious (St. Louis, MO)

More than a mouthful, but always delicious! Moxie Malicious is a solo performer in St. Louis, MO. A proud graduate of Van Ella Studios, Moxie first came to the KCBF in 2012 as part of Lola Van Ella's burlesque troupe, “The Bon-Bons.” Her style is comedic, absurd, and will hopefully make you smile. Moxie loves to get a laugh, intentionally or otherwise.

Dahlia Dulce (Minneapolis, MN)

Dahlia Dulce is one of the founders of Minneapolis’s Black Hearts Burlesque. She produces a monthly show at a variety of locations around the twin cities. Coming from a Latino heritage, this delicate flower has an affinity for the classics of burlesque but will often tantalize you with her Latin flare. Always stimulating your senses, she is a highly provocative performer.

Dolly De Maul (Kansas City, MO)

Dolly De Maul has been tantalizing and cultivating the art of tease since late 2008.  Beginning in Two Gun Tease Burlesque  and numerous shows later, Dolly alongside partner in crime; Bijou Merlot  took on The Bad Habits and followed along side KC’s own ‘Them Damned Young Livers’ providing debaucherous  Go-going and burlesque. Also working under wing Lucky DeLuxe taking her cross countryside and into popular Fringe shows like ‘The Good Book Variety Review’. Dolly De Maul stays fresh with Fashion shows, shows, modeling and frequents at KC´s Dr. Sketchy’s.. Dolly craves the stage and will leave her audience craving more just the same.

Fifi Glitterbomb (Kansas City, MO)

Fifi Glitterbomb began her performing arts journey in oriental dance under T'Ali. She has studied the delicious art of tease under Mary Magdalene and Madame MacKay. Fifi learned the art of illusion as a magician's assitant in "The Voodoo Revue". Last fall, she performed with The Mosiac Dance company at the Carlsen Center and in February she was filmed as a 1930's brothel whore in the movie "The House of Forbidden Secrets". Fifi continues to search for creative avenues in physically expressing the beautiful nature of the human soul.

Lunaire d’Etoile (Kansas City, MO)

Lunaire d'Etoile grew up on a small winery in the south of France, living a quiet and shy life picking grapes.  When she was 14, her "black sheep" cousin secretly took her into town to see a fantastically sexy cabaret band named Alacartoona.  2 nights later, she quickly packed her bags, bought her first corset, and left home to pursue a career as a burlesque dancer.  She has been on the run ever since, learning the art of burlesque in the seediest of bars from Toulouse to Paris (and now Kansas City), trying to keep one step ahead of the bounty hunter her family sent to drag her home all those years ago.

Lola Van Ella (St. Louis, MO)

Lola Van Ella is an international burlesque singer, dancer, instructor, emcee, and the CEO of VanElla Productions.  She is an often cheeky, but always sexy performer who is showcased all over St. Louis and beyond. In St. Louis, she perorms frequently and produces many shows, including Missouri's first ever national burlesque and vaudeville festival, The Show-Me Burlesque Festival and subsequent Show-Me Burlesque Tour, The Bon-Bons Burlesque Revue, featuring her student troupe, The Bon-Bons, as well as the extremely popular St. Louis Burlesque Showcase.  In 2008 Alive Magazine named her one St. Louis' most influential people.  Lola also won the 2nd and 1st runner up title, in the 2009 and 2010 respectively, in the Queen of Burlesque Competition at the New Orleans Burlesque Festival and was voted number 9 in 20th Century Pin-up's Top 50 Burlesque Performers worldwide 2 years in a row.

As a performer, Lola has performed twice at Miss Exotic World and the Best of Midwest Burlesk, at The Vancouver, Chicago and

London Burlesque Festivals and in engagements and shows all over the world, from Miami, New York, Dallas, San Francisco and Seattle to Berlin, Amsterdam, Nuremburg and for the past 2 years in Jamaica at Dance Wicked for A Week!  

Lola is also the owner of VanElla Studios, St. Louis' first and only boutique style burlesque, vaudeville and variety school, and has taught workshops at various Universities, schools and events all over the world, and often travels to bring the art of burlesque and striptease to different communities.
